Promoting the restoration of ancient musical instruments
Taking care of ancient instruments equals taking care of beauty itself. Which is why Antiqua Vox constantly invests in the recovery and valorisation of pipe organs and of musical instruments of great value which would otherwise risk falling into oblivion and decay.
The collaboration with the Civic Museums of Treviso takes a step in such direction: by virtue of this very partnership, in fact, the precious harpsichord of the Lattes collection was able to be restored and returned to its former splendour. But Antiqua Vox’s commitment will not stop at that: the idea is to continue on this path, in the hope of creating a whole section dedicated to musical instruments within the museum.
The restoration process naturally includes the regular maintenance and tuning of the instruments, which are indispensable to obtaining a sound that not only catches the audience’s ear, but may also conquer their soul.
